I'll bet it feels good to have a cooperator now in spreading one of your favorite flowers: the dandelion. "Laying golden carpets" is a lovely bit of imagery. The picture of Sawyer blowing on a dandelion is charming. Love, Jeanie

Well Grandmother, Sawyer is at it again. Amazing how they love exploring everything. My little ones always enjoyed feeding the rabbits dandelions. Well done. Shalom to all.

Hello Brooke,
I don't like dandelions but after reading your poem how I would love to view a carpet of yellow instead of 5 foot high snow banks.
Thank you for the thought of spring.

I love the picture and how it goes perfectly with your poem. I myself, love dandelions; as do many people. Just the feeling of finding one and making a wish and blowing the seeds away and watching them float in the air is a cherished moment within itself. Great poem :)

Seeding is definitely time to leave the dandelion alone. This is very well written with a good flow of word, making for a very good read.

I think you've perfectly captured the boundless joy a child feels when blowing dandelion seeds. This used to be one of my favorite springtime activities.

I wholeheartedly agree... How could there be a better way to spend time than helping God spread springtime cheer! I love this and think Sawyer should be given an award for inspiring so many wonderful poems. Ask Tom if there isn't some special award for special little muses. :p

Laying golden carpets --
there can't be a career
where time is spent more wisely
than spreading springtime cheer.
Oh such a lovely review for your two favorite things ... Sawyer and dandelions. The mixture of the two is awesome Brooke.
