Good abcb rhymes in your quatrains
Good use of alliteration throughout
Easy flow of words from one line to another
Good luck to Sawyer who seems to be helping to spread springtime cheer

OH how cute. My kids loved to blow them when they were little. I saw a robin yesterday so I think spring is on its way. I hope so anyway. Lovely poem, Brooke. Miss Sally

I really liked this, and it does go without saying the rhyme and the flow was perfect, the wording was so clever, as it is a springtime message, I love your photos of sawyer, such a cute dude!

A lovely poem about dandelions, My brother hates the carpet of yellow that he has to deal with in spring in Ohio but in California that is all we have are weeds for a yard. I told my brother that you can eat them, The leaves and the flowers. He told me to have at it, Ha Ha, I wasn't that hungry. Nice verse. Don and Vicki

Happy Snowless, Freezeless and delightful spring-like Saturday night, Brooke!
Your dandelion poem is perfect. It goes without saying the poem is in spot-on-perfect meter and rhyme and flows smoothly. I like the theme and magic elements of the poem as it transported me to a time when I'd pick those dandelion seeds and blow them into space. (much to my dad's frustration)
Well done, my friend

Thank you so much, Ray - and now the weather is going sour on us again with snow predicted for Tuesday. Will it never end? LOL I'm so lucky that my dad loved wildflowers - our yard was covered in clover, buttercups, violets, dandelions and more, and we just sat back and enjoyed the flower show :-) Brooke

Very nice. I wish Spring was here, so I could watch the seeds, even weeds, blow in the wind. A nice poem and a good hope for the warmth and simple pleasure that will soon come.

I note the raggedy patch of lawn behind Sawyer in the photo - no doubt infested with darn dandelion weeds! :o)
Despite that curmudgeonly reply, I am often tempted to give the things a puff myself and to hell with the consequences.

Beautiful photo! And the wisdom of treasure being transported in dandelion seeds sets my soul doing handsprings! The meter and rhyme move this piece along at an easy pace. Thank you.

Glad to see you in springtime mode, Brooke, with this sprightly write about your favorite flower.
I don't know if gardeners appreciate those golden carpets. LOL But I do like to see this hardy flower poking its bright yellow head up in verges and waste lots.
Delightful quatrains.

Julia, we've had a few days of cool spring weather, and now we're headed back down to a prediction of snow for Tuesday. LOL I want to keep spring in the air. Thank you, my friend. Brooke :-)

It's the same here, but the birds seem to think it's spring.
peace and blessings, julia
