Hilarious! Saw the title - Thought "I've got to read that!" - Cackled all the the way through - laughed like a drain at the end.
Brilliant! :)

Lady C, thanks for the review and the BIG laugh - that's what it's all about when all's said and done.

Hmmm, you failed to mention Piggy 3 was packing a flame thrower! Or a big toaster.

Neat acrostic, Steve, with several clever turns to make it work without being labored. I love the erected/architected rhyme. Also liked the whole 'crunchy cracklin'' menu bit.
I think this will be a strong contender.

Best of luck.

Peace, Lee

You're supposed to remember that wolfy went down the chimney to try to het P3!

Thanks for the review and the sixer - clinging to a small lead in the booth.

Mom must have left out the chimney part in her storytelling. She was squeamish.
    Good luck. L

Engrossing acrostic, I've never read a better summary of this favorite childhood verse, clever and entertaining. Here you again. Kenny

So sorry for the strange reply to your review - I have no idea where that even came from - I certainly didn't type it in!

Thank you for the review and the kind words.

--no problem Steve. I thought it was funny and I joined in the fun. There's ghost's on the site. One of my verse's posted by itself one day from the preview mode. And even stranger things are happening, I'm told. I always enjoy your writing. Kenny

You are both creative, clever and highly irreverent. Fancy fooling with the story of the three little bears.

You are indeed a poet of the highest calibre, a statement proved by this work. You have mastered the three main principles of the poetic form. You have rhyme, you have meter and most importantly of all, you have entertained

Hi Steve, I love your concise and brilliant take on The Three Little Pigs. Funny, rhymed and acrostic to boot with sprinklings of alliteration throughout- how clever. I think this one should do well in the booths - it's got that extra something... Good luck! Debra :)

Did I have a good laugh, precious poem. I recently read 'the three little pigs in French', so I am refreshed with the storyline! Your rhymes and choice of words worked really well and it was very funny. Picture was great and an acrostic into the bargain, too! Most enjoyable and good luck in the contest. Faye

Faye, thanks for the great review and specially the good laugh - Trois Petits Cochons? I'll have to keep an eye out for it....

You're welcome. Yes, but the French must be soft-hearted because not one pig died at the hands, or rather the jaws of the wolf, but he came to a sticky end! Faye

This is incredible. You managed to tell the entire story in this acrostic format. There was a smooth flow on the reading, rhyming was spot on and nothing seemed 'forced to fit '.

Well done. Best of luck in the contest... John
