This is excellent, Steve, and just how the story of the three Little pigs should be treated, I think. The acrostic form suits the story, too. The three Little pigs inspired me to start my first story... who knew it could be so inspirational?? lol, Giddy

Thanks, Giddy.
Now I'm really curious what that first story was about.

I giggled all the way through this, it is wonderful. You have quite the talent. I loved how the wolf was toast. Wish I had a six left, you would have it. Blessings and good luck in the contest.

This is a wonderful retelling of the three pigs story. The wolf did enjoy himself for a while on all that fine pork, but tsk, tsk, the third pig outsmarts him at the end. Excellent rhymes in your acrostic poem. It flows well. A creative and fun response to the prompt. Good luck in the contest.

Another very clever contest entry. Do you and Sally, the musician, know each other? Your unique brain structures are quite similar. Excellent wordplay. I enjoyed this piece immensely. Best of luck in the contest. Blessing, Linda

Thank you.
I am not sure who you mean by Sally the Musician - is she a FanStory writer?
I've written a few of these fairy-tale acrostics now - must put them together in a book one day soon...

It spells the title, tells a story and rhymes. The rhythm is great and it moves along at a good pace. Good work, Steve. Good luck in the contest.

Fantastic acrostic for The Three Little Pig strong and clever rhyming
good alliteration in mortar mix and crunchy crackling and rump/ribs/roast
love the commentary on how the first two expected their ill-conceived houses would work out
extremely funny closing - you've added humor and life to this old tale - a keeper :-) Brooke

A fantastic entry. I don't see how anyone can beat that. An artistic rendition of a favorite fairy tale with unforced rhyming. Love this line:(Though none it seems was architected)very clever. Great ending.
