I don't think I have ever seen tercets written in quite this way before Brooke and I found it very interesting to read. I read and re-read each stanza, loving the wonderful rhymes you used and it was the third lines with their almost abrupt feelthat lent a highly unusual but effective. Again, though your grandsons vocabulary is most advanced (lol), I could still imagine that this could be his thoughts if he could really voice them. Good luck in the contest. xx Carol

I don't have to be a grandmother (though I am aching in futility to be one) to know that what you say is so true. There is nothing like "I love you" spoken by the cutest little voice in the world. xx Carol

This is a charming study of your little grandson, Brooke; and he's sitting in a very nice office, too The rhyme scheme of the tercets is very effective, I thought. Giddy

Numbers and words may fail ,but instinct never fails .The price of love is way beyond everything.sawyer has a pensive look as he ponders about the computer.
So sawyer is now fascinated by computers? They naturally seem to get attracted by its charms. my niece's little girl is just four and she can already click enough buttons on the laptop to take out her favorite games and cartoons!they learn to click before they learn the alphabets.

Thank you so much!! Goodness me. There is more than one kind of love. If I have to read about one more gal looking like a rose!!! What can compare to the love that you describe here? Never ending, without need of anything in return and totally supportive in every possible way. There is no way to calculate. Truer words were never spoken. Beautiful. I think I'll go "trim" the roses.... mikey

A very talented writing about "love" in poetry form. I like the line " there is no need to calculate a love that cannot be denied." A nice theme with a nice presentation.

This is such a cute love poem, Brooke and what an adorable picture. Sawyer looks like quite the executive behind that desk. Take care, my friend~Debbie

This is a lively verse and so much fun to read. You have a creative take on the prompt. Love is something beyond calculating numbers and far more instinctive.
Nice smooth rhythm in the eight syllable lines of your tercets. Excellent rhymes.
