Bob,
Okay, you have my attention now. Who doesn't love a good Ess & Oz mystery. I can't wait to see what you have in store for me. They are two of my faves. Hope you're having a really great day.
Love,
Barbara

Oz and Ess are my favorite characters, too. So glad to see them again.
LOL! So they're off, looking for a fairy. A Daisy fairy. Well, of course. I loved it. Yea!!!
'Bout damn near time you got back to writing. You might feed that dog other things besides your homework, snod! Welcome back, my friend.

Is the dog alright and still in this world?
Great chapter, bold to attack the elemental world, with a mystery type...
PS: is Chauff still alive?

Chaf, I'm afraid, is somewhat comatose. I have a block as to how to get from here to there, so I'm letting it sleep for a while. Thanks for the review. Glad you liked it

Whoa! A fairy. Now you're treading in my territory. Seriously, I love how this story begins. The little Barista prick is perfect. I love Oz and Ess. Seems they have little to go on thus far. But, I'm sure they will uncover clues. Looking forward to the next chapter.
"Despite his youth he had the supercilious look off pat." Perhaps a typo here? What does "look off pat" mean?

It's a UK expression. To have something off pat means you have perfected the skill. http://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/off-pat So there!
Thanks for the review. Glad you liked it. Not a lot to go on yet, but if it was all dumped in their lap on page one, where would the story go?

Thanks for the explanation. I found it hard to imagine that you would have a typo, but then, editing is a funny thing. It's obvious Oz and Ess have their work cut out for them. Curious; just how tall is your fairy character?

Her legs go all the way down to the ground

I see you're still funny! My favorite trait in a human. I also appreciate a funny fairy.
There's a fairy coming up in my Spud Sullivan story . . .
