A very beautiful poem of lullaby proportions. I really enjoyed reading it. It rhymes well and has an excellent rhythm and flow. A well presented post.

I liked the musicality to the way this poem reads. It is just written in a way that makes it so easy to follow in its cadence. The thoughts are well written and I enjoyed partaking of this excellent piece of poetic art... John

The vivid imagery that you have displayed through your word collection is great. I was reeled in by your words and you captured my attention from beginning to end. Your picture choice accents your words well and the rhyming adds even more character to your work:)

Idamarty, this write utilizes appropriate language and impressions that a child would have in this vision of dreams. Great rhyme and meter with endearing terms. Well done. :0 GracieAnn

Wish I had six stars left, becuz your poem definitely deserves it. This is so delightful, I'm at a loss for words. Before I forget, in stanza 4, I believe it should be "whose" not the hyphenated form. Anyhow, I am totally mind-boggled by people like you who can write with such amazing imagination! It's just such a mark of brilliance to me. I can't even quote any of my favorite lines, becuz the entire thing is perfectly crafted. I definitely enjoyed the poem more than the image. Thanks for sharing.

Very whimsical picture you wrote about. I like the things you added as well, the octopus and so forth. You might want to tweak the second line, "As night stars glitter and yellow moon beams." Maybe "with yellow moon beams".
Thanks again for the fanciful trip :)Anita

Such a lovely whimsical poem inhabiting that glorious world of imagination and dreams that is the birthright of every child. Such a precious thing to hold onto as all poets know!
"``Don`t be shy,`` he says, ``come join us a while.``
You stand in awe, wanting so much to go,
Just for a moment, mom and dad won`t know."
