that cat has a tail like a raccoon. cute poem. add some yogurt and the cat will dive right in.

    Alex, thank you so much :-) Potato is not actually that huge - it's part camera angle and part the fact that my daughter has skinny legs. Potato wouldn't look nearly as big sitting on me. LOL

Ah, the loony lottery is on again.

If th trick is to encapsulate a lot of meaning into a few syllables, then this should do well with your clever analogy of things that go together which suggests a wonderful potential relationship.

Don't know enough about lunes to advise on punctuation, but it looks fine and does not detract from the poem. I love the pairings in each line---all feel-good things to warm a reader's heart. A nice feeling with which to end the night. Thanks.

Very thoughtful and quite clever.
For many people the world over your Lune poem
would gain a firm and sincere yes reply.

This has such a fun rhythm to it. The comparisons are charming with the added bonus of a cute rhyme. It fits the description of the lune in the contest requirements. It certainly wants me to sit down and cuddle something.

I don't know the lune rules at all so wouldn't know
whether or not they allow punctuation - I love the
picture and the words you chose to go with them -
