Your poems are always such a delight and I seeing the picture of Sawyer has made me miss FS. After just an hour of catching up I feel I have missed so much.
I truly enjoyed your poem and indeed two is almost as bad as 18.
Smiles,
Teresa

Hi Brooke, what a hoot! His expression is just a riot and boy, are you right about the terrible twos. Can't win.
Also, congrats on your win with Leonidas. Another real cutie. Thank you for sharing that little doll with us,
Hugs,
Gayle

I think I'll give you six for this, though "to me" the photo looks just a little bit grainy. I really like how your poems always seem to flow and rhyme nicely. You're right, two year old's can sometimes try a persons patience, of which...he might need a good spanking. Dean

a lovely and a really cute poem.
i loved it and while reading the dinner part i could relate myself with the words because despite my being 17, she still scolds me for the dinner.
the rhyme scheme is lovely and the words are really interesting and sweet.
an adorable poem :)
best wishes

LOL! I laughed at this one! Even when they turn 15 - sometimes the fight of wills goes absolutely nowhere. Great job Brooke!

Ha ha - what a look! He's showing a will of his own -- I'd have to walk away in case I laughed. You always manage to create a great poem for the photo - I applaud you, my friend.

Margaret, I was always like that with Sawyer's mom - it was so hard to discipline her because she was too damned cute. LOL Thanks so much for your review. Brooke

A brilliant poem. I am just experiencing the flinging of things from two two year great grandchildren. One about to fling himself on the floor. I said, "Don't do that you might miss something!" I was shocked when he stopped.

Unfortunately, not only did I lose my battle with my TWO year old son ... I haven't improved in the winning game at ALL and he's now SEVENTEEN! He doesn't pout or frown - he simply picks me up ... or ... I yell at his kneecaps! Delightful Brooke! :)S
