A very excellent written palm and so easy to read Brooke. I found the poem to be very witty, imaginative, and very clever. Your rhyming was exceptional and neither of your rhymes were forced, labored or strained why your rhythm flowed very smoothly throughout the poem. What a scowl he has on his face today but it is again precious. Thank you for sharing and posting your poem for everyone. May you find and have peace always.
Alex

Ah, the terrible twos. Sawyer is learning to make decisions and even if Miranda doesn't agree it shows his growth and that he has a mind of his own. What a look. Your verse says it all. Smiles, Robin :)

My husband and I are both non-practicing attorneys. Early on, we realized their is no greater satisfaction that winning a battle of wills with a young child. Thanks for sharing. I have been lax about writing here lately. The copywriting business has been keeping me busy, but maybe I'll be able to write more soon. T2

A hilarious look at the conflict between a mother and a small boy, a conflict seldom won. Irksome it may be, but as an adult, defiance can be a useful trait. Perfect rhyme once again and a most entertaining poem - thanks for the entertainment.

This is so true....the two year old can conquer...but what I found is they can easily be diverted......they are adorable but strong willed.....
We'll pick our battles won't we....
God bless

I laughed out loud when I saw that face - just
a perfect illustration to this story/poem. How could
Amanda not chuckle at that! (later, of course) Your wonderfully
rhymed poem describes, in a humorous tone, the battle
that goes on daily with two year olds. Nancy

Andrew, thank you for your very positive comments. In light of the positive comments can I ask for a clarification of the 4 rating, which means you believe something about the poem should be improved. What would you like to see improved? Brooke
