Hi Brooke,
definitely a cute moment, laced into poetic verse... it's always a bright light when I view your work... thank you for that... and the pleasure is mine, as always.
One cute dude!

I like how in the second verse you ask what the child is seeing. This is a fun little poem that captures a whimsical moment with a child.

Love the phrase "madness of merriment". It sets the tone for the entire write.
Amazing that even this delightful, spontaneous fragment is as impeccably penned as an elaborate sonnet.
Thanks for sharing.

hello brooke
I hope this day finds you well
I love seeing your entries of your grandson
the love just comes through
as it should
how lucky is he
the reader smiles when reading your words
they are words of truth
I too live in a world with little ones
oh to be in their minds and eyes
thank you for sharing
enjoy the night

Hello Brooke,
What a great question, for surely the world through the eyes of a child, reflects the joy and wonder of that world. But, what is their perception of our experienced exterior as they study our reactions to life's events. I found this poem to be very thought provoking, well done. I wish you a wonderful day, although it doesn't look like things are letting up much out in your neck of the woods. Oh well, everything in its own sweet time, I suppose. Best wishes, Bill

I love 'peek a boo eyes' - what a great way of putting it! A lovely little tipple for the tongue about empathy and the infectious joy of those we love. You put a smile on my face, this changeable London evening :-).
