Hey Mr. Dean,
I kept thinking, as I read your story, you were profiling The Evil of Evil Ones, who had been (walking about seeking whom my devour)

I'm elder enough to remember about JTR but had not thought about him for a long time.

Anyway you did a super job of describing him.

Go with God and you can't go wrong Jerry

Thank you very much, Jerry. The is evil, and then, there is diabolically evil. I'd put Jack and his escapades in that last category, for sure!

I really appreciate the comments, my friend!

This poem is well rhymed and metered. It flows as quickly as the blood for the body of Jack to the vampiress.

The story is well thought out and shows emotions of anger, hatred of self and sometimes of deed. He seems to enjoy what He's doing when he's doing it but blames what he does on a devil that pulls his strings. In the beginning he seems to have a conscious. In the end he doesn't and gets his just desserts as he become dessert for his last victim.

Keep writing

OMG, Dean, you are out to scare the pants
off me - and although I shouldn't read it,
I'm drawn in and followed it to the END!!

The music alone is scary enough - and I
have to admit, the poem's so skillfully
done -- yuk!!

This is another dark and thrilling prime of writing from the author in this post. Jack the Ripper struck fear into London and there have been several imitators such as the Yorkshire Ripper, Peter Sutcliffe.

This rating does not count towards story rating or author rank.
The highest and the lowest rating are not included in calculations.

Thank you Tomes, I appreciate your thoughts on this one.

After doing a little research, I found out some interesting facts about his last known victim. Some claim that Jack, the Yorkshire Ripper, and others, are one in the same, that ol' Jack is immortal. That is what inspired this writing.

That sounds like a great story to me.
