Jack the Ripper, how many different tales were spun around this elusive killer. Some speculated that a Royal personage was the killer.
Your poem deals with the vampiress no doubt. Good bit of writing. Well done.

This is an awesome piece, Dean. Frenzied, furious, fervor is fantastic alliteration. I was impressed with the rhyming scheme - you have words in the middle of the sentence that rhyme as well as your end words. It is difficult enough to rhyme the end words and have everything make sense, but it absolutely rocks to rhyme other words and still have perfect coherence. Amazing. You are very talented, indeed, my friend. Poor ol Jack met with just desserts in this 'Delicious' poem when Mary sank her fangs into him. The information in your author notes was the icing on the cake, and made the goose bumps and chills happen. Very well done.

Hey Dean,
This was a wonderfully, creepy write! Your speculation serves your imagination well. The gory scenes you portray are masterfully described, and the authors notes do nothing to leave one with a feeling of closure, lol. We just had a guy move in down the street...kind of quite, keeps to himself...goes by Jackson or Jacky...something like that. Haha. Nice job with this nightmarish write...pleasant dreams, Bill

solid rhyming couplets
love the author notes :-)
good consonance in life force
excellent alliteration in frenzied furious fervor
I like the imagery of the marionette
good sensory appeal in things like the clawing sounds and arctic wind
as always, you create a horrific, eerie atmosphere extremely well

Very informative. I have heard of Jack the Ripper but I had never heard the Legend of Mary the Vampire. This poem is nicely done, Gruesome but flows well.

Dean, I really enjoy how you have weaved this great tale into one that questions and begs for an answer to what became of jack the ripper. Was Mary Kelly a vampires? Something we may never know, but this piece brings about many thought provoking questions. Very well done my friend.

I am somewhat behind in my reviewing for I have fallen twice this month. Suffering a severe concussion from a fall trying to get to my plowed in car. The second when I fell on a patch of black ice. I received a broken left collar bone and a torn rotator. It has been a fearful 2 weeks for me. I am reading and reviewing a select few of my friends until the discomfort is gone. Take care my friend,,,,,,,Jim

The evil deeds of Jack the Ripper remain morbidly fascinating to this day, and you re-create the very spookie atmosphere with your words of the maniac who is led by evil forces.

I guess 'immortality was his curse', as otherwise he wouldn't be able to write this. :-)

Shivery stuff and fantastic presentation as ever.

Best wishes, Ted
