This was a very nice poem. Very good poetic devices throughout the poem. The poem reads well, and the message is clear. It's raining here now, and by God's grace the sun will be shining here as well. LOL.

Beautiful words and well written. I found myself thinking I have those days. For me the poem was about emotions - a sea of emotions with the calm before the storm and then the peace as the storm passes.

You know I love this one, Brooke. The ABAB rhyme scheme makes it flow smoothly as the waves when they are receding.
Great alliterations throughout and the message is what I like best: Yea, we can't appreciate the good days without experiencing a few bad ones in between. Annie says it best, "The sun will come out..."
