Happy ValenFRY Day...from the Rogue41 total reviews

Oil up the pan and FRY him on FRYday! I am sure there are those hens willing to take the plunge, but this old bird prefers to watch from the safety of her perch. Our Rogue is now known as Hades. Before long he will turn into the Scarlet Pimpernel!!!!! Such an enjoyable Valentine present. I'll take his drumstick please. Thank you David. Smiles, Robin :)

Thank you very much, my friend, for your fun review. I really appreciate that, and you're more than welcome to a drumstick. I understand that's one of my tastier parts...and I thank you also for the idea. I may use that.

The Rogue is elusive! :)

How you fried them! If you wake up one morning and discover at your doorstep the ladies of FS in their thousands with rakes and schytes, what will you do, aside from calling me without an answer?

You wouldn't answer? Brother, where for art thou when I need you?
Thank you, my friend. It was fun to write, and I'll get to your date soon. If you need me to stand in, I'll do that for you...even if you won't help me. ;-)

A perfect rogue fry day entry for valentine's day, I will have to check out what the sisterhood has came up with. I enjoyed the rhyme and pace of your poem. Don

OH great one, Dear Rogue. I'm sure that is getting a rise out of some of your ladies? I love this third stanza
So when you claim you?re winning, you?ve already missed the mark;
You?re in the seventh inning, but your target left the park.
You?re in the final quarter, but he left before the third
To steal the field reporter (who had asked to have a word).
Great job, David.

Thanks so much, my friend. I actually just posted one I think you'll like better. It's not a rogue poem, either. :) I appreciate you, JL.

I say roast him. If anyone's dumb enough to jump in the pan with him, too bad. There are ways of keeping him in the pan, you know. A spit works pretty good. LOL Just having some fun.

Thanks, Cindy. Hey, do have fun with it. That's what the fool is for, and that's about all he's good for. I appreciate it!

Thanks so much, Linda. I appreciate that you take these in the spirit intended. :) Oh, he'll burn soon enough, I'm sure.

Very well written and I could have guessed you would come up with something like this. No romantic Valentine from you. Amusing second line S1. Nevertheless, a good poem, perfectly executed and very clever to incorporate Hades, God of the underworld and Persephone, Queen of the underworld and the Rogue who should be sent there. LOL A good read. Regards Dorothy

Actually, Dorothy, I'm about to post a real one, and I hope you like it better than the last one. The rogue will certainly be there soon enough, and Hades won't appreciate the stolen identity. ;-)

This was awesome, just awesome. Your poetry is dynamite. I may not be a lady, but I thoroughly appreciate wit.
Great poem, fantastic subject matter!
And a big kudos for not using "cupid"!!!

I can't stop laughing--you can't make this kind of stuff up. 'He'll roll around the grill and dare someone to join him (and I promise someone will)' You are so right. Even now the ink's bubbling. Masterful (and cunning), Kenny

Thank you, Kenny, for your validating review. Perhaps I should answer directly to their poems, but since there are so many, I can only offer cursory references. As always, you're someone whose opinion I value, so I appreciate it! David

Thank you, Jenny. I don't blame you! He's probably not worth your time, my friend, but I still appreciate you taking a look at this shady character's ramblings. :)

I look forward to your rumblings ...they are fun
