She is such a cutie!!!
Your poem is in excellent Whitney syllable count and structure.
I love the optional use of rhyme.
Great use of questions to engage the reader.
Imp is the perfect word choice :-) Brooke

I thought the 5-7-5 was tough! A Whitney could be real problem, but you did a great job. Your little girl? Good luck in the contest.

Yes, no telling what happens behind closed doors. LOL. This whitney poem was well written, and the message was clear. I also loved the picture you chose with this poem. Nice job.

This is charming, and written in well done Whitney form. The presentation is likewise appealing, with the picture of the little imp behind the door. Good luck to you, Jeanie Mercer

Hi Mystery Poet

A delightful image of a cheeky little imp ... so perfect for your poem. I have enjoyed your use of the whitney .. I haven't read one for ages. :)

Cute, funny .... or maybe not for the cleaner-upper. lol I recognise the humour in this witty little ditty and wish the poet the best of luck in the contest. Sure to be popular at the polls. :))) Great poetic technique, spot on syllable count, love the allit in "done/door", Trashed/toys" and 'l' consonance in "all/floor/Little/guilty", enjambment used well to keep the flow, 'i' assonance in "Little/imp's and near sound of 'i' in guilty", add a dash of 'o' assonance and the poet has achieved rhyme as well. OMG ... is there anything you left out? Superb entry for the contest. I have enjoyed and laughed my head off .... oh, the memories. Hahaha! Warm Regards - Lovinia xoxoxo

What's she done
behind the door?
Trashed her toys

Little imp's
on guard for sure...

Seen that guilty look before!

And a guilty look that for all intents and purposes melts your heart.

One of the better entries I've read... John

ps. I agree, the unrhymed whitney isn't as nice a form (in my humble opinion!)
