Seems like there was no break at all between the children's artwork on the fridge and the grandchildren's masterpieces. Aren't the kids wonderfully creative before they learn the "rules"? Great work, Brooke. :) Nancy

Nancy, thank you so much :-) And yes, you're right - before they learn the rules and before teachers discourage them by identifying only a couple of the kids in class as the gifted artists and pretty much telling all the other kids to try something else. Brooke

Another good poem Brooke, with words and a picture to say it all. Good word flow tells a very strong truth, Talent is unlimited when instinct is the teacher.

Another fantastic poem. This is one in which I truly enjoy, because I both love writing and visual arts. Looks like Sawyer likes it too. Wonderful job!

You are absolutely right with the message you are putting across here. The picture compliments it well, the rhythm is even and smooth. As always from you another enjoyable read. Great job.

You know, I really like this one, Brooke. It's like a pearl of wisdom; and I honestly think that most artists would agree one hundred percent with this statement. Worthy of 6, but sadly I'm out of them.

There is an artist in every creature. I like the positive message that artists are born, not made. That is an inspiring fact that every kid should know. Kids don't hold back when they are coloring or painting. They just let their inner artist flow.

My Mom still has a faded old picture on her refridgerator that my son Austin drew for her when he was 8. He is now in his fifth year in the Navy. Very nice little read.

Hi Brooke,
Another of your spot on the button observations. Talent does indeed flow through the veins in all the artistic forms - but it needs nurture and encouragement to grow.

Brooke - I loved the message in this one - life is all about living through our inner thoughts and actions....they open doors I never knew I had. Lovely post with a great nugget of wisdom. Cutie Pie looks like he is enjoying his painting time.
Thanks for sharing it.
