Great photo.
Truer words were never written but to recognize and nuture that talent is another matter.
They don't let teachers do that but somehow we that anyway.
My successes are out there making their dreams come true.
I hope that happens for Sawyer!

Don't you just wish we could peek into the future and find out what our little grandchildren darlings are going to be? We see so much potential in them and, prayfully, it is going to be fully realized to the joy of everyone connected. Love the picture! :-) Janet

I will admit I so miss the pictures that covered my refrigerator door. Paintings on paper scraps, paper plates and brown paper bags.
Kids are so artistic in so many varied ways - I often think we don't allow them enough freedom to voice their own story.
Instinct is the teacher - a terrific thought!

I can understand why you were awarded all time best for this Whitney. Instinct sure is our teacher, we just have to listen to the still, small voice that instructs our talents hidden until the sunlight opens the day. Well done finger-painting Mum.

This is an outstanding poem. I believe that it is within each of us to create fine art. While it is very true that some have great instinctive talent. IIf one allows himself to not get in the way of his own instincts, his creativity will then rise to the top and express itself in ways that are truly awesome. That is my belief.

Perfect. I have those treasures from many many children, saved for many years. I love the memories they bring.
