LOL! The picture is priceless! I burst into laughter just glancing at it. The icing all over his face. He's delicious! LOL!

The poem is delectable, too. LOL! Yeah, where's the proof?
I chuckled all the way through it. Too cute!

Absolutely adorable! I love the way this is worded, its even flow of words and the 'not me' look on Sawyer's face. Every word of this poem is delightful to read!!!!

Brooke,
He just gets cuter by the minute - that face! Who me? This is fun to read and it made me laugh. I love the light heartedness of it all. How can one reprimand that face? Another adorable entry. I like the line " there isn't any way to prove it's icing from the cake"!!! Cracked me up. Peace, :-) Debbie

This is so clever. I love it. This reminds me of a Art Linkletter's book, "Children say the Darndest Things" Very nice. Thanks for posting.

A very clever humorous poem about an ill accused cake thief. With a face lie that, how could you possibly accuse him! A very smoothly written work. This is a very similar rhythm and rhyme technique used in songwriting, which needs a consistent meter to retain its integrity. Well done. Roy.

LOL! That is the PERFECT photo for this. And this is the perfect poem for the photo. Bravo! This one goes in the first book for sure! It will be a hit not just for the poems but for the awesome pictures! Brooke, I HOPE you are working on getting these to a children's book publisher. You are, aren't you? :)

Hi,Brooke:-)
"They Claim a Cupcake's is Missing" is a cute quatrain structured poem of the highest quality with a consistently followed rhyme scheme of AbCb. It has excellent rhyme and good figurative language and imagery (slipped the cake in my unwilling hands). It has good rhythm.
