adewpearl,

This is a beautiful poem. I liked it very much. Nicely written work. Perfectly arranged. Very good formatting. Smooth flowing. Understandable.

There was no SPAG. No room for improvement.

I look forward to seeing you again.

Love you,

Oatmeal

I have to love a poem that makes me laugh! This poem is well-done, loved the rhyming sequences, and a cute subject on top of all that. You might say that this poem is like the icing on the cupcake.

I believe that Sawyer is confused because somebody did slip that cupcake into his hands and of course he doesn't understand why anyone would want to stick the blame on him.
Lovely fun poem and a picture of stunned Sawyer to accompany it

What an adorable face on the culprit. He makes a case for his innocence. Maybe he'll be a lawyer some day. LOL Denial to the very end. Clever little man.

Thanks so much, Spitfire - his Uncle Eric just graduated from law school, so I'm sure he'll offer him some coaching advice. LOL Brooke

Another gorgeous poem, Brooke, and the photo is superb, Sawyer wearing his 'who me?' expression. I never cease to marvel at how many poems you write and every one is original in every way.

Dear Brooke,
Well, you really enhanced the guilt clearly apparent on the "angel's" face. But, is he really guilty or merely the victim of some nefarious plot by that darn little girl from next door? There is another poem there!!!

'They Claim a Cupcake's Missing.'

Somebody must have slipped the cake
in my unwilling hands,
but I am not responsible
for where suspicion lands.

A very appropriate poem, Brooke. Author notes: (cuptake)

This isn't fair. That little boy is stealing my heart. He truly is a thief! Lol. Love the poem that describes him to a T. Perfect.

This is a fun poem that comes with a terrific capture of a suspect with a smoking gun in hand. The look on his face is priceless.
