Brooke, LOL How fun this is. The look on his face says it all and the write is fitting. Temptation makes us do crazy things. Fun rhyme and meter. I enjoyed this. :0 GracieAnn

This light, humorous poem had me smiling from the very first word. And the adorable picture definitely does this poem justice! We've all been the ''me'' in this poem at one point or anything and can all relate :)

Brooke, Sawyer's expression tells it all. "Caught in the act!" The poem is just absolutely perfect for this picture. The picture would win a photo contest. I hope I'm still alive by the time your book is complete and published, so I can buy it. I love it! Carole
P.S. The "cuptake" is a cute play on words.

Of course he didn't do it, how could he?you capture life really well.
Today, my son in law posted on facebook a picture of the kiddo sitting on the door of the dishwasher with the proudest look on her face.
His comment was " I think I have lost control around here."
He has,but he needs to get her off that door.

Thank you so much, CR - yes, he didn't steal it. That is just Grandma's making him into a little villain for the sake of a good poem. LOL :-) Brooke

Hi PearlyOne,
Such a pleasure to read this one! Wonderful to see you are still rolling out these lovely little grandchild-inspired poems. I loved it. You manage so well to capture these cute and precious moments. The expression on the little fellow's face is priceless... and so is your poem.
Hugs, Aggie (W ^-^)

What can I say? ABSOLUTELY adorable! This poem is perfect in every way with the humor at the top of the list. I don't know if magazines for parents publish poetry anymore, but it would be worth it to find out. It would be perfect for that venue. And what a great title---sure made me want to read the poem. The words "they claim" does it!

Oh, this so reminds me of my kids. Once found and ate half of one of their birthday cakes, trying to pin the blame on the other though both their faces were smeared with chocolate. Consolation- at least they will never be master thieves.
