Ants. How can something that little be such a nuisance? They manage to. Well written poem that depicts the ongoing battle with these tiny little insects well.

Ants are really pests especially when they enter the house. We get them in Spain in the hot weather, What I do is have ready spray bottles of vinegar one in the bathroom, and one in the kitchen. Apparently they send out one or two ants to see if the coast is clear, For me vinegar is the best solution, but my husband wants to spray the chemicals.

Hi Mary appreciate you getting into these other poems. Everyone looks at the Peewee one and leaves all these other. Thanks for coning by. We try and keep stuff away from the areas we know the ants are gonna come in. I have some ant and Cockroach Powder I need to put around outside but with all the rain I want to wait till it passes. Nice to meet another friend.

Grrrrrr, those little varmints are a real pain in the backside. I've dealt with them far more than I've wanted to. Now----everything goes into plastic bags/containers when I bring it home from the store.

Well actually we have been lucky more recently maybe we are being ever soooo careful where we leave stuff now ha. Thanks for the lovely review glad you are cruising through the book.

Poetry is not really my thing, and I almost didn't review this for that reason. I did think, however, that you might have gotten a little lost after the first verse (which was great and began very promisingly, I thought). I can appreciate how you feel about ants, though! Horrible little blighters in the wrong place!

OK thanks frie3nd for the review. First time anyone said I got lost but thanks anyway. As a matter of fact it originally was a single verse on it's own. So maybe you are right. Might work on it if I get time later. I see you are the first reviewer to come in after I added the poem to "My Book of Poultry" hehe.

Cute poem. I like the last stanza best. I know the feeling. Once they get inside, it seems they will take over and never leave. But don't send them, please, we have plenty of their relatives, ha ha

When we were stationed in Maryland, we had a horrible time with ants. I can understand your frustration. Here in Texas we don't have an ant problem. I guess Texas is too dry for even ants. I enjoyed reading your poem.

Hi friend have not seen you around for a while. I do have some Ant and Cockroach powder but needs to be not expecting rain or be too hot to get out there and place it around the house. Thanks for the review,

Good end rhyming. Good internal rhyme with ants/pants. Good alliteration with some/say...clay/cracked/concrete...wond'ring/we'll/with...slide/street. Good complimentary photo followed by a message filled with humor.

Thanks stranger where ya bin have not seen you around for ages. Appreciate you droppi8ng by. have to get the Ant and Cockroach 0powder going. Trouble is if rain is expected or it is too hot can't do it! Grrrr. Lord Bless
