A good capture of a moment frozen it time. Good repeating lines and a good depiction of your image.
A bright layout and good imagery depicted in this.

Nice use of the word poacher in combination with 'stolen'. We all have these words running around in our heads but only you seem to be able to pull out just the right ones to light up your work.
Sweet poem. Darling photo. Gentle, easy to read rhyme gives this a pleasant flow.

Good Evening, Brooke
On this you can bet
this wonderful triolet
is one of your best yet!
This is a perfect poem with perfect meter and flow and the theme is just perfect for this Valentine's season. I had to smile with the image appended to the poem.
Well done, my friend, and good luck to you in the contest.

Ray, thank you so very much. I am digging myself out from buried reviews and nearly choked when I saw I never acknowledged your generous six star rating. So, please accept this as a thank you and an apology :-) Brooke

A stolen kiss is not a crime
if love is in the poacher's heart.
What a lovely sentiment, Brooke! So appropriate for Valentine's Day.
No bell will ring without its chime - that too, it a sweet way of describing two people in love.
Yep - that little lad will be a heart-breaker one day!
Cute pic!

Reviewing your work is almost like cheating. It is always so good and it's always delightful.
Loved your repeating lines "A stolen kiss is not a crime/if love is in the poacher's heart."
Lovely and exacting example of the form. You make me want to try one.
Thanks again for sharing your work with all of us.
Peace.

How very, very sweet this is. The picture says it all, And no doubt provided the inspiration for the triolet. I enjoyed it very much, especially the natural innocence. Giddy

Hi Brooke, this triolet's adorable. I really like the choice of repeating line and the crime of poaching love is very clever. As always, this reads and sounds wonderful aloud. Best of luck in the contest.

Such a sweet poem to match the perfect picture. I love the way you use the concept of "poaching" to describe the one stealing the kiss...very cleaver
