Poacher, stolen.. words that evoke larceny. I love your use of them in this innocent poem of stealing a kiss, coupled with the beautiful photo.
Excellent.

I can't identify if Sawyer's face is saying, "oh no, what's going on here," or is it, "that's right, uh-huh, I'm the man!"
Either way is a previous photo shot. Your poem did the photo justice, "a stolen kiss is not a crime. And I'll not rest until your mine."
Nicely done... John

Thanks so much, John. He goes all shy when she makes her moves, but when she is not there, he makes pretend phone calls to her incessantly. LOL Brooke

This is so well done. I love the picture and the rhythm your words express. The repetition gives it extra meaning. Sawyer looks surprised. He's already a chick magnet, I see. Ha Ha

Delightful triolet Brooke. What a sweet picture of Sawyer and Chloe. I will be a treasures memento one day - at least for Chloe. I love the repeating lines. I learn so much from just reading your work.
Blessings

Excellent Triolet styled poem. You said Chloe was after Sawyer and it looks like she is staking her claim. Cute!
"No bell will ring without its chime and stealing a kiss is not a crime" are my favorite lines. 8-)

This is a beautiful piece of writing from the author in this post. A stolen kiss is certainly not a crime if the poacher is a sweet little girl. This is absolutely lovely

Adorable picture and poem, Brooke. Well penned triolet--charming and delightful as an innocent kiss on the cheek of a playmate.
LOVE this line:
No bell will ring without its chime,
Fine flow and rhyming as usual. Nice phonetics, especially the consonance of L.
Warmly, rd

Dear Brooke - Oh I remember my kids when they were in JK - they gave a few kisses too:)
This is skillfully penned and with an endearing quality that I loved.
Great pic of Cutie Pie - this as a whole is a treasure.
Thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest.
