Diane, thank you so much :-) He really does have a major crush on this girl, but every time she physically approaches him he goes all shy. LOL I've heard him call her on his pretend phones dozens of times. :-) Brooke

Hi, Brooke,
"A Stolen Kiss" is an exceptional poem meeting requirements of excellent; flow, rhyme figurative language and imagery and rhyme scheme consistently followed. I love it. I assume it is in protest of six year olds being charged with sexual harassment of which I have heard reports. Unfortunately you will have to settle for virtual stars as I do not have any more real? ones. Good luck in the contest

Thanks so much, Valerie. You should hear him call her over and over when she is not there and he has his pretend phone. LOL

Sawyer is getting his love from somewhere else grandma.
Charming triolet with delightful repeated lines
A stolen kiss is not a crime This certainly looks like a stolen kiss

Thanks so much, emrpoems. I don't begrudge Chloe her kisses - Sawyer has plenty of loving to share with all of us. LOL :-) Brooke

Beautifully written poem, once again. I loved the poem and the picture of Sawyer and his play date is adorable. A shared kiss between children, how wonderful it that. :}
Thanks for sharing.

"Love is in the poacher's heart, and the repetition of it gives this poem a profound effect. The innocent childhood kiss is brought into sharp focus within the poacher's art. Well done.

Lovely poem, Brooke. Indeed no bell will ring without it's chime and in the case of this little poacher, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Thanks for sharing a lovely thought and photo.

You could have entered this in the Valentine contest - great photo! One wonders how these two will be in ten years time? I enjoyed your Triolet and wish you well in the contest. Sawyer looks more interested in what's going on further away instead of that pesky female. Ain't love grand? Got a story for you too. Well done my friend.

I told Miranda they have to get married when they grow up just because there are so many good pictures they could use in one of those recption-time slide shows. LOL He acts aloof when she is around, but when she is not with him, he calls her up on his play phone over and over. LOL Thanks so much, Kay. Brooke
