Sawyer's expression tells more than a thousand words lol.
You created the perfect poem for that expression , just wonderful.
Love the style and delicious message. Pili

Chloe is 'almost' as cute as Sawyer. First kiss. True love. But a stolen kiss is not a crime, if love is in the poacher's heart. Great little poem. :-) Carolyn

Thank you, min flowetry. It's short because that is how long the triolet is :-) Brooke

If you don't mind me askin what's a triolet

It's an 8 line poem where the first, fourth and seventh lines are the same and the second and eighth lines are the same. The rhyme scheme is ABaAabAB. If you click on the blue link for the contest rules, they explain it.

Dear Brooke,

This is just too cute, that handsome little fellow is about to make that little girl his first love...The triolet form (which you write so well)is perfect for this poem, and of course a stolen kiss is certainly not a crime!

This is so sweet, I know Sawyer is going to love these poems when he's really old enough to read them...
Thanks for allowing us to be a part of his life, through your words...the picture is just adorable...Good luck in the contest!
Big Hugs,
Victoria

So sweet and innocent and precious. What if this was flashed on the screen on Sawyer's wedding day...? I love it and a stolen kiss is not a crime...is so true....well done because it made me smile. I love your poems for their ability to lift a mood
God bless:o)

Uh oh Sawyer. Something tells me that the young man's heart is about to become the exclusive property of a certain young woman who has her eyes set on him. This is such a cute picture, it makes me smile deep within my heart. Great job. Oh and by the way, it is a graet poem as well.

Thanks so much, nomi - Sawyer is already hooked - he calls Chloe on his play phone dozens of times. I just love the way he says her name. LOL Brooke :-)

Now how much more precious could that get? It just couldn't.He looks like he's looking up getting ready to ask if it's okay for her to kiss him. I love the poem. I've always liked this style. Great job. God loves you and so do I.

that is very unusual for this day and age - it sure would make a great story to tell to their grandchildren one day :-)

that's good - too many kids push things too fast nowadays - nobody needs pregnant middle schoolers!
