Welcome back! Bouquet of blooms to kiss- a true Valentine not of flowers, but she as vibrant and beautiful as a bouquet. And the kiss between two- sweet nectar.

Hi, I apologize for the delayed response. It's so nice to hear from you. I'll be back soon to review.

I'd like to return permanently but upon my sisters arrival in October we've had an ongoing medical/ emotional crisis to address regarding her complicated health issues. She's been in two auto accidents in fifteen years resulting in a broken neck, has had several fusions between her neck, spine and shoulder and came to Md. for treatment at Hopkins after suffering a broken fusion that required additional surgery. She has been using prescribed narcotics for years and is currently taking (Nucynta) claiming that this narcotic is the most effective in controlling her pain and disability. It's an additive, mind altering substance causing her memory lapse, drowsiness and slurred speech at times which raises serious concern for me. Meanwhile, I'm in search of a reasonable alternative that she's willing to try... not easy. Long story short, I'm committed to her well being, stopping in briefly where time permits. My utmost thanks for your most meaningful comments and generous rating. All of the best to you! JR

Well its a good one and your count is correct. Just reviewed another where the count was off. Well chosen artwork doesn't take away from your verse.

On a totally different subject... I have a friend who also suffers from constant pain and she found it really useful to cut out gluton from her diet, I hope this helps as well. Another possible help is lymphatic drainage, if the body stores up toxins, draining and clearing the body of the toxins may be of help. Good luck with both poetry and your sister.

Ohhh. . .I'm so sorry you missed the tetractys prompt (this is a good one)
It must have been a popular prompt!! By the time I went to click "reserve a spot" it was all filled up - I missed it too.

I love the image you have painted here -
a bouquet of kisses
nectar gathered from the lips
(a sly wink to "the birds and the bees" ;-)

I like the way you chose to format this piece of poetry. I found that it added to the enjoyment of the message given here. This was a well written romantic poem. I enjoyed reading and writing this response for it... John

Arms
embrace
her bouquet
of blooms to kiss
when the sweetest nectar flows across my lips

Such a wonderful Tetractys and a fine example to teach others how to do one. Beautiful.
