A very playful fun nursery rhyme style poem. "Have a half" wonderful alliteration! The poems you create about your child are always the best. I loved this one as I do your other ones.

Gorgeous picture of that Sawyer and what a delightful, playful poem you have penned once again to light my soul for a little while. I am using my whole smile right now.

Look at those eyes! The joy or glee is bursting to escape them :-)
(adorable picture!)

And, of course, as always, lovely poetry
I love all the internal sibilance peppering it (half/flash - smile/sun/shine/so - etc.) not to mention the assonance (like happens-halves) It all combines to make for a pleasant ride :-)

Take as many pictures as you can Brooke, because before you know it they're grown and spending more time smiling with their friends than with their grandparents. Just the way it's supposed to be. Great job!

This is so sweet, I love the half of smile, my son does that when he is teasing me. just one little dimple peeks out and he waits to see if I get his joke before his whole face breaks out into a giant smile.

I'll give you six star because there is a lot of truth to that. I also liked how well it flowed!! I enjoy reading poems that rhyme, better then those that don't. GOOD looking boy!! He does have a nice smile. Dean

This is a fun poem Brooke. I think I need to take your advice and let it all go sometime. Little Sawyer is going to be a ladies man, I can see it in his eyes. Take care. Bill

Thanks so much, Bill. I've already warned his mother to keep those girls away because I can see them swarming already. LOL :-) Brooke

And with that smile the world does shine.
A nicely rounded poem with good intentional rhymes which creates the vibrancy and charm that this work depicts.
A charming little write.

Best wishes, Bev

Grandma's heart and thoughts revolve around this gorgeous child. The love and wonderment expressed of how he lights the author's world creates magic on the page. Beautiful, Brooke.

You're welcome, Brooke. Your little doll has the most wonderful face. It must be hard not to smother it with kisses.

This poem gave me a smile... and a big one I can assure you.
Wonderful, this poem with great flow and rhyme.
A whole smile is wonderful, but look at his face... so naughty and cute. Fia
