It is almost impossible to predict the things to come for those who are new to the world - it is interesting the ones you have chosen as your examples - I imagine you could well have gone on for a few more stanzas...

What a beautiful picture of your grandson. You are truly blessed. Your poem is so fitting for a young child. There are so many opportunities that lie ahead and you so eloquently put that into words. Beautifully written. Ken

I like your poem very much, Brooke. It always pleases me when someone (especially a wonderful poet such as you) uses one of my invented forms of poetry. It's perfectly acceptable to modify it. This one is beautiful, as is your darling grandson.

Dear Brooke,
A delightful view of the future world by a little one. If only we could recapture (ourselves) the innocence.

Ah yes what's yet to come for each of us. One of my favorite sayings is: "To all that's been, thanks, for all that shall be...yes!" Great job once again.

What a wonderful look into the eyes of a child. The best is even and smooth, I enjoyed the rhyme scheme alot as we'll. The Pompano in the band and the castle in the sand lines were very enjoyable.
