Allowing your mind to wonder in different direction and come up with a unique story is a gift from God. The picture makes one believe that the child is seriously contemplating about the future. Thinking of what is yet to come in a calm manner! This is a wonderful poem.

This face..this beautiful, angelic face would inspire the Grinch to write such a joyful poem. A child's world is so full of wonder and discovery, and you have expressed it well. Excellent, as usual, Brooke.

Well I hope your little man will not run with the hippos. I have heard they are really dangerous they kill more people then lions and tigers. They are becoming very dangerous,, I see it on a documentary,, back to your poem,, I love how you have your words of contemplation from your little man the wonder that await him,,well done,,blessings sueellen

I love this one. It speaks to the hope and beauty of childhood and what lies beyond. How a child thinks any wild thing they think about could come true.(like traveling with a hippo herd!) I like the repetition of "I contemplate." I like the alliteration of abound, adventures and around. (and of course the picture of Sawyer contemplating!)

He really looks like he is contemplating! What can I say, your poem is as it always is, good rhyming and good rhythm. I so enjoy reading them. Miss Sally

This is great piece of writing and I like the idea of what a young life has in front of it. The greatest treasure in life is future possibilities that we have yet achieve. Great work.

Very touching and humorous at the same time. The first two lines stumble just a bit with awkward meter, but that doesn't detract from the overall effect. Very warm and fuzzy.

'I Contemplate' is an extremely well-written and delightfully descriptive piece. The world id full of probable, possible and infinite possibilities! It was a pleasure to review this talented poet's work.

When I see this contemplative look on my grandchildren, I always wonder what that little mind is thinking. You have captured the essence of the moment. Life is good and stretches out so far ahead, so many things beneath the sun are yet to come.

In this picture it looks like he's thinking pretty hard. LOL. This was a well written poem. The message of all the things that are ahead is clearly communicated in this refreshing poem. Well written.
