This is truly a realistic poem. We are supposed to have a wind chill here tonight of -15 to -20. I have six chickens in a little house in the back yard and I turned the heat lamp on for them tonight. 'Bitter air,' is right on. Very well worded poem which I can relate to.

I figured that the fans were what Sawyer was enthralled with in the pic.

For me it's apparent, Brooke, since ceiling fans are called kipas angin (wind fan) over here. Fancy how kids love things which are so common to adults. Glad you draw innumerable inspiration from Sawyer...:)

'The Wind,' Another one of your excellent poems you have crafted here, Brooke. The other day I didn't like the wind blowing, Then it got very hot (43.3 deg) and I begged the breeze to come in. Well done.

Brooke:

When Cindy was just a baby, she would just laugh
out loud every time we visited a friend of mine
who had a ceiling fan in her living room. She
thought it was the greatest thing ever. She still
loves them but manages not to laugh out loud all
the time now.

thanks for sharing
love,
jan

Hi, Brooke. Loved it:

"The world will cower as Wind spills
its frigid cold 'mongst vales and hills"

I wonder who took Sawyer to see the fans?

Blessings, Bob

Is there anything you can't write about. I think Britain had a title called the Poet Lauriat, I feel you should be adorned Fanstory's Poet Lauriat. Hope I've spelt it correctly.

This truly was delightful
