Brooke, You have written wonderful words of wisdom and Sawyer's cat truly looks like he is brooding. I often look like that myself. Thank you for your daily unique and delightful rhyme. Carole

Aw, now that's just too cute! It's just a great poem, and a perfect picture for it. I always say my Miss Priss has the most expressive face, but it looks like this one is deep in thought; yes, maybe brooding. LOL

Dawn, thank you so much - they have two cats - Potato is the extroverted, active one and Pixie is the thinker. LOL :-) Brooke

Hahahaha - oh, THAT explains a LOT. Prissy must be a thinker too!

This poem has a lot to ponder. You creat vivid images with strong word choices. Not a word is wasted. The cat in the picture does look like the weight of the world is too much to bear which compliments your message well.

You have said so much in so few words. This is a Whitney worth quoting. Rhymes nicely too. I especially like ponderous and wonderous. I like the Whitney form. Learned it from you!
Blessings, peace and hugs.

RHYMING Whitneys are not easy to pull off, Brooke - and your flawless rhythm really helps out here. Well done! Clever use of 'ponderous' and 'wonderous' - delightful!
