Hi Carolyn,
I owe you an apology.
In my last review of your writing, I meant metres not members. It's the Ipads fault.

The condors rise looks like a wish. Make it a good wish.
The lands soul sound so good.

Thanks Benny, never a need to apologize, although it is nice of you to do it, no telling what I write at times. LOL Glad you enjoyed Condors Flight. :-) Carolyn

Hello Carolyn good to see you back.
I don't believe I've actually seen a condor in this part of the world. They belong to the western hemisphere and are a type of vulture I believe. We do have vultures here.
Cheers
Sylvia

Yes there are several species of vultures. The condors, being the largest live in California USA and the Andes. We have several here in Missouri as well. Cheers back to you, Carolyn

Oh yeah, a very enjoyable read this is Carolyn...excellent depiction of what the Condor looks like and does! I've always found them to be fascinating and under-appreciated birds...which I'm sure has to do with their incredibly beautiful looks! ;)

Thanks for sharing this one and take good care!

And they are probably un appreciated for their taste in food, but where would all that carrion go if they didn't clean it up? Glad you enjoyed it Jeffrey, :-) Carolyn

Would love to just drift in the wind and look down on the world like all the birds do it must be quite a sight for them floating high up in the air.

Super wow! From the beautiful words to the picture you have chosen all enriches the idea and the idealism of your poem.
Masterfully written, the imagery captures the beholder who reads the words which are so simple but graciously shows the elegance of a bird of beauty.
Thank you so much Carolyn for sharing this with everyone including myself. Truly you are a great one for writing the styles of poetry. You have a good one and God bless.

Hi Carolyn,

I thought your poem was great. The picture you chose to use with it is too. The bird looks big. You did a great job in writing this and it was a most enjoyable read.
