this is very nice.
very well done.
i like these lines:
Our weak attempts to comprehend
We now believe with simple faith
And reason soon becomes a wraith
For of God's purpose we are blind

This is so true of the human condition....it reminds me of Ecc 3:11
11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.

Well done..
God bless

Your pantoum appears well structured. I liked your central premise about the difficulties and tendency of us humans to make sense of a vast and complex universe by trying to simplify answers to complex questions. It is interesting to think about it.

Very good pantoum, which I aspire to write one day, but cannot wrap my mind around it just yet. Love the poem and the wisdom of the message. Myths do fill my mind, I just now realized. Great job!

Every stanza of this is great. I try to be as honest as possible with my reviews and offer constructive criticism when necessary, but you really seem to know what you're doing. I have nothing negative to say about this poem at all.

In Christianity there are over 2,500 protestant churches, each teaching their own brand of Truth. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words.

Many thanks for your kind review and comments C_lucas. Much appreciated! Truth has many faces, whereas faith has only one.

An interesting treatment of the power of myth to cloud our minds and leave us blind
to the truth behind the things we find either complicated or mystifying.
We do, indeed, often twist the facts to fit our needs and leave poor reason as a wraith
And once convinced we have fathomed the explanation, we settle in to believing with a simple faith.

Interesting write :-)

'Minor Myths' is a well-written and thought-provoking piece. It's only my opinion, but this poet's work is open to several interpretations. It was a pleasure to both read and review a work of this caliber.

This is a perfectly formatted pantoum that talks about a man whose life work seemed to have been to demystify life as we know it. I don't know whether he succeeded, but I liked some of his quotes, such as, "We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us." Good luck in the contest, great job!
