I have read a few entered in this contest and find this poem more in line with the rules. Mystery writer I think you may have a winner. Shalom

Hello there! What a gorgeous piece. I'm particularly impressed with the second phrase. I like 'the vastness of the universe'. I've never tried this form of poetry and am no expert, but this flows beautifully and has deep meaning. Very nice work. :) A.

This is an interesting and thought provoking verse. It appears to be well written and seems to challenge the reader:
True -
The vastness of the universe,
Must twist the facts we cannot mend.
With cogent whispers quite diverse
Our weak attempts to comprehend

The poem complied with the requirements for writing a Pantoum poetry. I do subscribed to the message of the poem about the power of myth and how it influenced people's minds and beliefs. I like best the last stanza, We now believe with simple faith, these minor myths that fill our mind. God bless.

If this is designed to interest me in the writing of Joseph Campbell then you have done that. I can only hope that it is as good as this excellent piece. A beautiful statement of faith. Straight forward and unhindered in any way by the difficult form. Wonderful work. mikey

Many thanks for your kind review, Mikey. Much appreciated! I've just finished reading The Hero With a Thousand Faces - a fascinating analysis of the heroes of myths and legends which draws some interesting conclusions for the modern day. Another FanStory put me onto his works recently. Good reading!

Not only does this feel circular and an excellent rationale, but you rhyme with spectacular ease and not forced. I had to look up the word wraith...a ghost, a specter...how perfect. Great job.

This is an excellent Pantoum, full of truth and wisdom. Intelligent very clearly expressed the complexities between myth and truth, the eternal search . Was a great pleasure to read. Good luck in the contest. To me is a true winner. Pili

I love the pantoum as a form, and I know it's extremely challenging to write a GOOD one. This one is one of those good ones! Flawless rhythm and line connections. Truly well done! :)Sharyn
