I like this a lot; it's an easy-read, which I can almost always enjoy. Also, it's meaningful! Conveying meaning with simple language is a lot harder than it sounds, so I salute you. Please check out my work sometime. :) Take care.

P.S. Enjoy the five stars!

My,my. You certainly are an enterprising and fearless person. you don't mention all the poop you have to clean up.
Best line--throwing the books away. Nothing like proving the experts wrong.

Oh wow this is ...wow.
Loved the paragraph on the drugs. It was perfect! Laughed my butt off...well not qyite. But was cute.
Laughed about the business aspect as I had a business once...

Don't you love how all the relatives think you are rich? They all thought we were rich. We were always praying to sell a bag of bird seed for McDonalds that night! mikey

You read the book. You learned the formula. Then you threw the book a way. Learning a business is good. But I don't think you are the type to let one thing run your life or your mind. You need to explorer many things. Great work.

I thought is was a good read. I like the fact that you included you obsessive behavior and keep that going, gives a better picture on determination and shows that if you want to do something, regardless of circumstances (within reason) you can.
it had a nice flow and good job with descriptions. painted a better background.

Sounds like my kind of dream of having all the birds in the universe. I had a cockatiel once white she was so beautiful. We have had most any kind of animal you can think of, I draw the line at tarantulas. My niece had one and it got loose so you know what happened to it when I found it.

Hahaha!! Yep. I wouldn't touch the one we had. I was thrilled when someone bought it. Bye bye...... My wife had a white cockatiel when I met her. It said hello to me and that is what got me started on birds!! mikey

Hi Mikey,
This is a great post, and one that reflects a true animal lover. Taking risks is part of an entrepreneurial way of thinking. You leaped into an opportunity and have succeeded regardless of the negative business forecasting. Good for you!
Bye
Rosalyne :)

We didn't know any better! That is probably a good thing. We didn't realize that it wasn't possible. Glad you liked this. Thank you for the great encouragement. mikey

What a wild side route. Trusting your gut has a higher percentage of success than using one's own acquired experience. How enchanting that you threw yourselves into the business and became authorities.

Great read.

It was at the very least a lot of fun. We loved animals and we had a lot of them. But, having a business is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. It is grueling. Glad you enjoyed this. Thank you! mikey
