The photo fits this piece perfectly as the words bring the photo to life. Good word description that creates a clear imaginary in my mind. Good story telling. Strong beginning followed up by a stronger ending. Good work.

A very nice three paragraphs. Some nice descriptive lines. Your last line there is a small typo 'ambers' should be 'embers' - a very nice relaxing read. Regards Dorothy

What a joyful poem to read and to get the feel of a crisp cold winters day. Yet see the beauty all around. Then to enjoy the warmth of the fire with its embers burning. I wish I was sipping coffee with you and discussing writing.

This poem paints a perfect picture in my mind and head. It takes me right there. It helps that it is -10 degrees outside right now. As I sit here collecting my thoughts with a hot cup of coffee. Good Job

I really loved the way you expressed this. It made me feel as if I was enjoying the beautiful scenery alongside you. There is nothing like curling up by the fire after a long walk in the autumn chill, and I felt the cosiness of the scene you came home to. Well done!
