I just watched American Justice about a man named Kenneth McDuff...people like him are what I think about as I read this piece. Scary, in that some people are born without compassion. It's a physical deformity that they really can't help. Of course, the answer is always to kill them. We need to do more prevention and work with kids to help them before they reach the point of no return...IMHO. As always, your work gives us the chills, even as we look toward the sun. :) A.

hell of a picture. you did an amazing job at describing someone's evil soul, or a lack of one at all.
I have met someone. I was with my daughter's father for 3 yrs. he has bi polar. he use to beat me almost every day, regardless of how much I was begging him to stop.
no, he has no soul, it's not even replaced by darkness, there is just nothing there. after being trapped in his sick reality for so long, I finally got out, but only after my daughter was born. that's how I finally found my strength to leave

Yes I have met within my years of life, and yes indeed these
evil ones can cause to us much strife..no! not vampires they do be...some chose to be a close dear friend, whose friendship now is at it's end..
Yes, many live behind a mask, and will remain just so,
because of all the things I know, I will not ever choose
with them to go....anywhere!
I read your notes, I knew you were just kidding, it was the poem that I believe could really be quite true!
Thanks for sharing.........(and no! I wasn't even afraid of that horrible bloody picture!)

This world is filled with evil, and more times than not, the beauty is the beast. If Bundy, Gacy, and Dahmer were dark and scary looking, they would have such an easy times luring victims. Watch our for Angelina. LOL Thanks for another great poem.

The poem flowed nicely. Quite terrifyingly in fact. This makes me afraid to look into the mirror. Made me stop and question whether or not my dark side wants to come out and play more. I have known a few people that match the poems description to a tee!

Love this piece. What chills me the most is the word 'several' in reference to these folks. That is accurate. It seems a common affliction. Of course you didn't bury him in your back yard. That is the first place they would look! I would look first in the yard of anyone that gives you a four. Just sayin. mikey

Dean: yes, I have met people like this. As a matter of fact, I had several relationships with those soulless people. I attract them like a magnate of some kind. They are the serial killers, the ones with no feelings or empathy and don't care who they step on as long as they get what they want. Great write, picture and music. Linda
