A remarkably nice write with an interesting title 'Gist in tne Bliss'The description of Paradise is very vivid. Here the poet talks of a 'sweet summer land of bliss'which is'a forever dwelling place, called Paradise'...this is a place 'for those who dare to live.'
She goes on to explain "The gist in the bliss /is when we have found peace" This poem is concluded well "This is a heaven.....make life into a brilliant glitz."
A nice photo accompanies this piece.

Nicely chosen words and imagery for your concept of Paradise. The Champs Elysees do conjure up things of beauty-I am an avid Francophile and Anglophile. It flows very well and is well-written. Faye

This is a really nice poem, filled with faith in God and the hereafter. It flows well and rhymes beautifully.

The artwork complements it perfectly.

Well done, thank you for sharing.

I think we all have a place that we call our own paradise. A place where you feel at peace and one with your maker. Thanks for sharing this lovely poem.

This work has reached the exceptional level

This is a good piece to think about. I particularly liked these words:
Where we can earn life's worth
The secret of nature's gist
To make life into a brilliant glitz

Life does have its worth, but sadly, far too many people find out what the true value of friends and family are, when it's too late.

Well, that is certainly different, Carolyn and Ritchie, to write a poem together. That's great!

First, I loved the artwork ... very inviting and calming. It is the perfect complement to this write. Absolutely love the title "Gist in the Bliss"!

A poem that makes the reader pause and ponder what hopefully awaits us. It is a calming, soothing type of a write that is well written and presented.

Thanks for sharing you two! :)

Hi Carolyn, I read these out of order but they still work well - I enjoyed reading your dual poems, they bring peace as I ponder them as one.
Thanks for sharing it.

Hi Carolyn,

This is another great poem that's written really well. The rhyming is wonderful too. It's so nice to see your smiling face.

I put a picture of me up a couple of days ago.

Reviewing takes up most of my time. I only post things every four or five days when I can. Otherwise it's longer.

Some days I don't even get on the computer.

I actually try to work a part of each day, reviewing and an occasional post. But some days, like yourself, I can't work it in. You are such a lovely lady Kat. It is nice to put a face with the poetry. :-)Carolyn

I may go back to the cat since I am one.

This is really quite beautiful Carolyn, takes the reader to a temporary place outside of our Earthly reality (1st stanza) yet reminds us of our mortal state in the 2nd...both being equally endearing, that's what I've taken from the poem anyway.

Thanks for sharing, and happy writing to you going forward!

Jeffrey
