Just kiddin'. Your story is humbling and timely. Values like generosity of spirit and warm hearts to friends and neighbours, are eroding in our dislocated world. They still exist, but people need to be reminded. Your wise, nicely scoped, and sincere narrative do just that. With Christmas around the corner, it's a good time for us all to remind and be reminded.

So, take that you 'other proprietor' I am with the guy in the coffin, to hear someone I love say that they were rich in things unmeasured by wealth, now that would make me smile too.

interesting story. not the money make people rich - the poor people say (kidding).
indeed the thought beyond this story is profound and the more people would live to make others lives good, the better for society.
