Wow this is some story in poetic form! Your rhyming was great, and the story line really good. Redemption or no, it is a story full of meaning and concern. I liked it a lot.

I admired your alternating rhymes in these quatrains, along with your splendid meter--shades of Edgar Allen Poe in structure and theme! Your "film-reel" simile and "wolf" metaphor were quite vivid and your use of alliteration added to the intensity. Well done! Best wishes in the contest. Cheers- Joan

A marvellous poem, Steve. Overtones of Edgar Allen Poe in places. Some great images (eg the cloak of danger - a jerky film-reel blinking On a silent, dusty screen - the dark wolf, death). Much enjoyed!

A wonderful fantastic poem and message that builds up to a climax with its cadences of fear and plateaus of calming respites, ending in the culmination of peace and love. I see no spelling or grammatical errors; the rhythm and rhyme are fitting.
