People will drink for various reasons as long as they are not alcoholics, there's no problem, and the money is there to buy the booze.
Those days ending with a "Y" as in 'why' could be a reason to drink to drown away the frustrations and hurt.
The "Y' can also be words like "bumpy", "gloomy", "teary" and so on. Just playing with my muse here, smiles.
Good write and well expressed.

I would have thought a fresh and creative way of expressing your theme would have been present. It's good, just not fresh and new; rather worn out. . .rather like me. lol livelylinda
