A solacing effect upon the evening hours as we stride to make things better come the morn.
Good imagery that describes the coolness at that time.

This poem creates a serene mood with smooth progressions from line to line. Line three could be improved so as not to use "is" again and say something about twilight without using the rather archaic "upon us". Line four nicely lifts emotions to a spiritual level.

This rating does not count towards story rating or author rank.
The highest and the lowest rating are not included in calculations.

Your poem is in excellent syllable count for the cinquain.
Gods' grace - should be God's grace, singular possessive
nice alliteration in God's grace
You create a beautifully serene mood with lovely detail :-) Brooke

This is a very soothing cinquain that foretells of a restful sleep, and perhaps pleasant dreams. Beautiful artwork enhances the feel of twilight and calm. Makes me feel like I'm in a tent in my sleeping bag on the banks of that lake, ready to fall asleep. You did a wonderful job of using the cinquain framework to hang your well chosen words.

Excellent contest entry. Wishing you the best ... ;o)

I am delighted you enjoyed Twilight. Sleeping bag, in a tent, by the lake. Now that's tranquility. :-)

This is such a sweet and positive verse. You've employed the cinquain format deftly to create this prayer of sleeptime blessing. Lovely!

This is a very nice cinquain with a good title and a very appropriate and lovely image to go with it. It is quite atmospheric and very soothing with words like 'calm', 'peaceful', 'rest' and 'sleep'. Very nice.
