I'm not familiar with the pictaphone process but you have written a very interesting synopsis of the Legend of Leap Castle. I find the history of this castle fascinating.

Hi Dean.
You don't always have a sound track to write your review to. I like the way you have combined image, music and text. The Ap. poem is not too far away.
However, the rhymes in your ballad aren't as modern as the general tech. Your text seemed Victorian (19C) for example "bloody tryst", "lazy lasses" I don't here too much of this lexicon on the street.
I'd love to see you write edge cutting words with the visual effort: it might blow us all away.

Thanks very much, Laurie Keim. You're absolutely correct in your assumptions concerning the time period of the text. Commonly, for medieval pieces I tend to go with an old word verbiage. Yet, for others such a such as one of my recent 'pictapoem' offerings (a pictapoem is a poem that is intended as more of a sensory experience, rather than simply just a read), "Handwriting on the Wall" (http://fanstory.com/displaystory.jsp?hd=1&id=647134), I do utilize more cutting edge vernacular and concepts. So, it truly depends upon the type of feeling I'm trying to generate as it pertains to the writing.
