This is such a great poem! I smiled bigger than the joker as I read it! ^^ Beautiful work! Bless you! :) When I saw the title I honestly assumed it was about Native Americans... but it was much greater than I could have expected. A beautiful message. Thank you.

This is a most excellent poem using the format as suggested; for certain fabulous figurative imagery used: "A prize from God's great treasure chest For such wonders we are blessed." This is my favorite part. As well as, "Lean for comfort on His breast Trust His power to do thye rest. Like how you used the analogy of the eagle/God. Wonderfully done. Another image conveyed is "Winging high to craft their nest." Very good word creativity.

This poem addresses the freedom of God as He holds us close to Him as the eagle or any bird would.
Very good cadence and emotion given.

I like the way in which your poem rhymes and I also like the words. They are uplifting to the spirit.

Great opening stanza:

Eagles rise o'er mountain crest
Winging high to craft their nest
A prize from God's great treasure chest
For such wonders we are blessed

Wonderful.

Hi Poet,

I think you did an outstanding job in writing this Mono-rhyme poem. It must have been quite difficult to write such a long poem and find so many words that rhyme the same. Bravo!

I found your poem uplifting in so many ways. Using the eagle to bring your point across, I thought was insightful. I truly felt your poem was the best entry. Good luck in the contest.

This is the best I have seen of these. Your end rhyme flowed without seeming contrived...I love the message best. It reminded me to lean on Him. Try our best God has the rest....Yay.
Thank you so much
God bless

When I tell people who are chronic worriers that it is a sin to worry (yes, even some Christian folk!), they look at me like I'm crazy. However, the Bible clearly states, in Matthew 6:25-27 (KJV 1900)

25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they ...

As you so eloquently said in your wonderful contest entry here, lean on Him and His understanding. He'll take care of the rest...

Nicely done. Best of luck to you in the contest.
