A very dramatic write!! I got all caught up in this, Pili:
It's raining in my heart
as I mourn
knowing all of you
will be left behind,
that my being
inevitably
will slowly disappear
from this Earth.
Sigh, parting is such sweet sorrow!!

I enjoyed reading your poem, Pili Pubul. It is cleverly written and well thought out. It sounds a bit lonely and sad, especially the last verse.

Thank you so much.

I love this free verse poem. Writing it as such has allowed the feeling of departure to be even more intense, the feelings deeper. Nice to read! Thanks for sharing this with us.

I'm not a poet so I don't know or understand the rules about meter or rhyme. But this poem really spoke to me. The very first stanza captured my attention and drew me in!

Oh, this is beautiful. Very powerful and touching. There is a real depth of sadness and loss. I really like the way you added "of my being" after "from the Earth." Do you want to capitalize Earth? I can see how you might not want to in this particular metaphorical instance. Nice, nice work.

I am sensing the legendary ships that pass in the night scenario whilst reading this poem, as two souls slowly drift apart forever

Your words were nicely used to display your feelings here I think. Your title was quite interesting too and you wrote about it well

From the title to the end I was entranced within your words... This held so many amazing phrases "Leave me
by the shores
of my soul," and "
It's raining in my heart " simply breathtaking...

Oh Darling Lady, If only I might venture to those waiting shores, your arms would be filled and bliss would be yours. Heaven would find you near the samds of your heart, two lovers in rapture never to be apart! I don't know where that came from but it sure sounded good! Loved this piece, sehow it inspired me! It took me to a place of hearts Paradise where longings are real and love is too! Loved this one so much my awesome friend!

Through the well matched metaphors coupled with the deep expression of thoughts, the pain of departure comes through with vivid imagery and well felt painful emotions. Free flowing as always.
