Hi Bill. Another great chapter. I like that this one explains something else unknown in the story line and unexpected. I believe this is going to be a wonderful book. Good luck. xoxo deborah

Okay, cool, I am confused, but this is kind of cool. Where did you ever come up with the name Cancer?
Keep writing and I need to read more. :)
Have a good week. :)

Sophia's aunt Amanda named the children after their horoscope signs. Virgo, Libra, and Cancer.

Bill, I have to concentrate hard to follow who's giving birth to who. But I think I'm just about hanging in there. I actually like the story a lot. Well written. All the best. Ulla:))

Sophia gave birth to Virgo and Libra, and Diana had Cancer, Amanda has claimed them all so they are the Pale Sisters.

Thanks a lot. That helped.

This story it seems, Is taking a somewhat dark turn, bodies are piling up all over the place. I sense that a major battle is looming on the horizon. The winner will probably turn out to be someone I had not expected, which makes it all the more enjoyable. I hate it when I can figure out the outcome of a suspense story.

One might say that the bloody, ritual sacrafices during forced fertility, murder, and general take-over-the-world mindset would be strong indications that the darkness was all about. (yukyukyuk)

>>The vehicle pulled away and was followed off the estate by a white paneled van. In the van were two men, two guns, and two shovels. <<
Well this sounds rather foreboding to me.
On the other hand the story leaves off at a real cling hanger which makes me want to come back and read how the story evolves further.

Now I'm confused. Sophia Pale gave birth to the first two infants. Diana gives birth to the third and is referred to as Mrs. Pale. And, Amanda Camp, Sophia's Aunt claims all three children as being hers.
Didn't Sophia just meet Diana in prison?

There is a lot of information in each chapter and it's easy get confused. Sophia Pale gave birth to Virgo and Libra. Diana Camp gave birth to Cancer (who is Kolk). Amanda Pale has claimed all three as her children. The Pale Sisters.

Okay, that helps. Thanks

Ooh, this was a grisly read. Plenty of ritualistic rape, murder and deformity going on here. Breeding a disastrous orgy of illness and death. Science fiction horror in all its gory glory. Not my favourite bedtime reading but others may dig it...

Thanks, CG, for the excellent review. I think the doctors may have made a final house call.

Your story is becoming very intriguing. I'm used to reading your excellent humor. This is equally good. You are multi-talented.

Thanks, Thomas, for the terrific review. I still have a backstory for the Magfas and Kolk to push in here before we get these girls too far into their deal.
Comment from Michael Ludwinder
This is a well written chapter. I think you do an excellent job with dialogue. This sounds like a doctor! The development of the chapter, although short, was strong and sets up the chapters to follow well. Great job.

How frightening is this..
the doctors decide they should
go to the authorities, and then
disappear - never to be seen again.
such an intriguing story, Bill -
must try to make time to read more.
