I'm sorry for your illness. You are very close to my age, and as far as I know, I am in good health. Not sure how I would handle it if things were the reverse. I feel you have accepted that this is the way life goes and I sense you are content with your life and are ready to face whatever happens. I send you prayers and hugs, keep the faith. God may have more in store for you yet.

A mournful lament to a slow death, presented with great impact and insightful emotion. This is just about how it goes, and some days it looks inviting. You have done well.

I don't give you a 6 because of your author's notes. I give you a 6 because of how you captured all life with so few words. Yes, from the time we are born we are being drained. But I see, that from the time we die, we are being born. Just like the seasons. This is an exceptional write. Both poetically, and philosophically. I'm glad I read these words, and I wish you the best. You've given a gift, and I am thankful.

I am sorry about your situation. Although I do not do so currently, I volunteered for hospice for seven years and used to know many people in similar situations. You have described the situation well and your poem flows smoothly. T2

It's O.K. I'm 65 years old and have lived a life. Have 3 daughters, one grand-daughter, two grandsons and one great-grandson. And, I have a church full of "church family". Our lives end at some point, of something, so, at least I know of what and approximately when my turn is to go on to my eternal life. Linda

Dear Linda, Poet, Friend,

Thank you for sharing your personal story with us. I did not know that you were so ill. It must have been hidden in the midst of the sunshine that you have spread to so many of us. Linda, you are a fine lady and will always be a part of our FS global family. When the FS hands unite in prayer, miracles happen--it has happened before. I will hold you in my prayers. Your loving hugs and words are your gift to us, and I thank you for your generous nature and for always making me smile. Sincerely, LateBloomer

It seems you've made peace with our redeemer, Jesus. I hope when you see him face-to-face, my friend, He'll say, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." I wish I could say something that would assuage what is happening to you right now, but as long as you love the Father and His Son, according to the Bible, you have an eternal place at His side where there's no sickness. I wish you peace!

Being in balance with God has priority over all things. The flesh profits nothing and when we can look the Lord in the eye with a clear understanding of forgiveness, nothing else matters. I enjoyed you write.

Oh, I'll pray that you don't give up! God delivers many miracles, and maybe He'll leave one under your door. This excellent poem shows a lot of spirit, and you need a lot of spirit to keep fighting.

Thank you so much for sharing this beauty with us; you are a courageous one, I'll pray for you every day.

Much love, Yelena
