I'm sorry for your illness. You are very close to my age, and as far as I know, I am in good health. Not sure how I would handle it if things were the reverse. I feel you have accepted that this is the way life goes and I sense you are content with your life and are ready to face whatever happens. I send you prayers and hugs, keep the faith. God may have more in store for you yet.

I don't give you a 6 because of your author's notes. I give you a 6 because of how you captured all life with so few words. Yes, from the time we are born we are being drained. But I see, that from the time we die, we are being born. Just like the seasons. This is an exceptional write. Both poetically, and philosophically. It's O.K. I'm 65 years old and have lived a life. Have 3 daughters, one grand-daughter, two grandsons and one great-grandson. And, I have a church full of "church family". Our lives end at some point, of something, so, at least I know of what and approximately when my turn is to go on to my eternal life. Linda
