Bet none of Shakey's clowns looked like this one though, Dean. LOL..You are something else, my friend. The poetry is great. Really great...and the artwork...or whatever you are deeming it is ghastly tosay the least.

you have a lot of fan attention on here, my friend and well deserved. Bob

I really enjoyed your latest post. Clowns have always been scary to me, so I can definitely relate to what you have written!.. Tell me where do you get your inspiration from? Also where do you get the amazing artwork to go with your writing, because it always makes your writing look so polished...Another Triumph...great Job!E

I do the artwork myself. They're "One-Of-a-Kind" Kuch originals, LOL! I am very glad that you feel this way, it makes all that work & effort well worth it.

    Thanks, again...

My friend you did it again, outstanding write, those scary clowns , you know there are many children scared of clowns I never realised just how many, my friend this is intense , I feel it is a metaphor for the demons of a schizophrenic and the torments placed on the mind, disguising themselves as clowns, sorry if I interpreted your poem incorrectly, great write one to think about, blessings sueellen

Though they are supposed to cause laughter and to entertain, it's a fact that some children are frightened by them and this has been built upon in the movie business. Another perfect pictapoem from the master of horror ~Dean Kuch~

This work has reached the exceptional level

Another very cleverly composed and exceptionally well presented poem.
I do enjoy these less violent poems and I don't feel any real impact is lost in this format. Your skill and mastery more than compensates for less violence. This is not a judgement on your choice just a statement of mine.

Thanks very much, seken58, and you're right. Sometimes, it's the things a writer doesn't allow us to see that terrify us the most. In the open shark attack sequence of Jaws, we didn't get to see the shark. We knew from the girl's screaming that he was there. We knew he was biting and eating her, ripping her to shreds, but we never saw anything but her head and shoulders above the surface of the water. And, we were horrified...

Thanks for your wonderful review and spot-on assessment.

SO many children are terrified of clowns, so this was a very good addition for your book--a child who's taken over by the clowns in his head. His imagination actually manifests itself and takes him over. I don't think Mommy is going to be around in the morning.

Great rhyming quatrains, even tempo and use of strong descriptors.(gushing wounds, gnashing teeth)

The author is back to writing what he writes best in this piece of writing. This is a beautifully dark and sinister poem. These clowns are demonic and evil, and I love them.

Thanks very much, Tomes. I love clowns, too. But, do they love me?

Seriously, I do appreciate the compliment and the fantastic review.

Another fantastic poem from you. Clowns are not always entertaining and amusing for children and I have seen many kids terrified of clowns. This certainly is a nightmare for the child in the poem. You information on clowns is very well researched and informative. Well done on a very unusual and entertaining piece.
