What a wonderful play on words you've penned here. But it's you, so now I've come to expect it. Still beautiful as everything you produce is!

A haiku with depth and beauty, it is soft and alluring, it whispers sweet nothings and causes one to wonder what and why... So cool for a haiku my friend, very accomplished, loved your artwork too :) I rarely give a six to a haiku but this one wooed me. NICE!

That's a delightful Haiku. Really loved the last line. The beautiful picture certainly enhanced the few words. You got the ideal syllabi count 5/7/5 Cheers Gaye

The picture first, well deserving of a haiku to enhance it. :)

This is an excellent haiku. I get saturation comes and the word play of dew time/due time. The gentle persuasion must of a sexual nature.

Cheers,
DW

This is well written. I pictured dew falling from the tip of a leaf. The image is alright. I think it would have been better had it been a leaf, but that's a personal opinion. Nothing further to say.

haha It was the image that brought on the poem for me but I may try it for a leaf as well.

With very few words, this poetry transports the reader
to a beautiful scene. The attached photo is the perfect

saturation comes saturation/persuasion rhyme
signs of gentle persuasion 's' alliterations
falling in dew time A pun? 'dew' time

Heavy dew presses down (gentle persuasion) on a petal until it pulls away and floats to earth in due time. Wonderful allusion. Deserves a 6 but alas none was proffered.

You have penned a superb haiku here. Each line offers something to ponder. The lines together come build and harmonize like the last color touches on a painting. The full beauty emerges. Your creative play on words with 'dew' is something I often try, but finding the right spot is difficult. The picture carries all the emotional beauty. The delicate bloom and fresh dew is perfect. As a rosarian I love it. This is one my favorite pieces. Well done.
